
Leeds City Council operates a service called Public Access for planning. This is an online internet service - Public Access Planning - that allows you to view details of planning applications received by Leeds City Council since 1st April 1974.

Typically residents adjacent to any planned development are notified of that development, with plans being available at the local library. Although certain developments may be regarded as 'permitted developments' which do not require any planning application to be made.
